SUlley might be back again

Sulley Muntari can be selected to play for Ghana again, even if he decides not to apologize.

And even then, he is not required to do so as a condition for his return, as the Ghana Football Association have always sworn he must. That's according to the Government of Ghana's White Paper released on Thursday following the 400-paged report of Justice Senyo Dzamefe-led Commission of Inquiry.

The Milan player has been on an indefinite suspension since the infamous fiasco in Brazil where Ghana's World Cup campaign degenerated into a farce. The player had been embroiled in fisticuffs with a Ghana FA official, Moses Armah.

But according to the white paper, an apology from Sulley should be done on his volition and must not forced.

It read: “Any apology from Mr. Sulley Muntari as recommended should be a voluntary act of contrition on his part but should not be made a condition for his recall into the team.”

The Ghana FA has long promised that the only way the Milan man would be considered for selection was if he apologised to all stakeholders in the matter. In support, the World Cup Commission of Inquiry also recommended similar conditions as follows:

- An unconditional apology to Mr. Moses Armah

- An unconditional apology to the President of the Republic of Ghana, the Commission and to Ghanaians in general.

- Referral to a psychologist for counseling and /or undergo anger therapy.

Several chances

This opens the way for the player to get back into the team, should he feel like it is needed, especially at a time when Sulley has been declared surplus to requirements at Milan and is on his way out.

marijuana will be legalise soon in Ghana says Black Rasta(musician)

Blakk Rasta, a reggae musician and host of Taxi Driver programme on Hitz FM, has said all indication shows Ghana will soon legalise marijuana.

The controversial reggae artiste told host of Starr Drive Bola Ray, Friday, that several countries around the world have started legalising the drug and in just a matter of time Ghana will follow suit.

According to him, marijuana is only harmful when it is abused.

“It is soon going to be legal; in the interim we hide and do it...I know it and I see it coming.

“Every wise country is legalising it now so [we] waiting for Ghana to get wiser... marijuana was created for a reason and if you use marijuana for those reasons then you are alright but if you use marijuana for selfish reasons then certainly you would suffer for that,” Blakk Rasta said.

Another sad day for Ghanaians

Shops along the Tip Toe lane at circle Accra are up in flames, three days after a similar fire incident claimed dozens of lives at the same venue. It is not clear what triggered the fire but an onlooker claimed he saw an electric cable spark in the same area few minutes before the fire started .
A ware house where traders keep their goods was affected ,some trader had to break into their shops to salvage few phones .
There was a blast from a gas cylinder which sent people
running helter skelter for their dear lives. And with the
fire reaching the electric cables high up ,there were fears
the fire could degenerate.
Personnel from the fire service arrived with at least five
of their tenders to douse the flames raging at a fast
pace.
The personnel initially had challenges getting access to
the fire given how narrow the place is. It took several
minutes for the flames to be brought under control.
A fire Officer, Mr Odamtten said  they will quickly begin an investigation to ascertain the real cause of the fire.
He would not rule out the electrical fault but said a
comprehensive investigation would have to be done to
ascertain the true cause of the fire.
He said there were no confirmed casualties at the time
but added they would have to clear the debris to know
the extent of damage.
The fire happened just meters away from the Goil filling
station which went up in flames on Wednesday in the
midst of a thunderstorm.May God help Ghana
